Camping in Indiana

Here we all are at a beautiful state park that Volkan took us to in May. We stayed in a cabin there, and everyone had a wonderful time. This is the inside of the cabin, at dinnertime. Thanks, Volkan!

This was just behind our cabin, and down the path. A very pretty lake, fishing area, and nature trail.

Nael Mehmet is a very tough (and cute) guy!

Here is Alaina looking very pretty, and posing like a model. She kept finding pretty scenery, and posing for us to take her picture.

Leyla really got into racing in the canoes. We had two of them, and it was girls versus boys. Girls won!! Leyla thought she was a real pirate on the open ocean. It was so much fun!

It was only about 80, and the water was freezing, but the kids insisted to swim. We let them, and they had a blast! Gabe was the cold water swimming champion- he's so tough!

This is a huge hole that the kids dug, and they promptly buried Gabe. They were all laughing, and having so much fun. I was cold just watching, but they didn't mind. As you can see, our kids weren't the only crazy ones swimming that day.



I just love this picture- it was the third and last day that we were at the cabin. It rained a little, but we were all having so much fun that we didn't mind. Anyway, it kind of added to the outdoors feel of the whole trip.
